Download your own wallchart here, it's big and mean:-

..and you'll need this diagram as well:-

Now with "extra items".

The next stage is to make the chart interactive.
Instead of a page number reference in the manual, we'll have a direct link to that section, which describes the task and what to do.

This all came from Dan Mayberry's SII Handbook.

Any complaints and omissions to Land Rover's managing director...  :P

There are some anomallies (to my mind)... for instance, there's no mention of antifreeze. And I'm sure it would be prudent to check the coolant level more frequently than once every 6 months.
And, there's no mention of checking the axle breathers.
And whilst you should replace the hydraulic seals, it doesn't suggest you replace all the fluid.

And then we move into areas that you might get a garage to do.
Check and set the ignition timing.
Check and adjust if required the wheel bearings.
Check steering relay oil level.
Remove brake drums, clean out dust, and replace shoes if worn - say every 2 years.

Drain off fuel tank and rinse out any sediment, say every 3 years.

However, I'm sure we can add service details of "extra" kit in the style of the period...

So if anyone has the actual detail of the intervals etc.
Send them on to me please.

And at some point we'll have hyperlinks to the actual instructions for each of the items.....

How many of us have swivels in which the oil stays put for 6,000 miles?

My left front easily does, by right front is lucky to do 1000 miles.
