The measurements are from centre to centre on the ball joints.

Restoring a Steering Wheel RHD

Note that you can use other similar products to achieve the same result.
The final spray with black gloss is best done with Plasticote aerosol paint  eclipsee_gold_cup
Many here have used this to great effect.

Also note, that Land Rover steering wheels are NOT made of Bakelite and if you follow my International Rally quizzes; Dr Leo Baekeland was one of my famous 12 Belgians  cheers_man

Alan - I'm not sure that these figures are all correct - I have memories of setting NOG up, and coming to the conclusion that at least one of these figures was wrong for my application.

Its also worth bearing in mind that if you own a SIII they are different between earlier and later SIII's

You could be right.

All I know is that the 3 I've been involved with, all set up as above and all was perfect, by the book.

Could be 109's are different  nixweiss could be later S3s are different.

If anyone has documentary evidence of alternative measurements please let us know....
