Many have suffered from poor clutch operation.

There is no adjustment of the clutch as such on the Series 2. Provided you have fitted the correct plate the right way round and have the correct clearance and alignment on the bit Top Hat bearing and cross shaft, all other problems will be external.

1) Wear and slop in the actuation levers/support bearings

2) Hydraulic problems

3) Slave push rod adjustment
